It is exhausting living a life where you don't recognize yourself anymore. It feels like walking around with the weight of the world on your shoulders, constantly feeling anxious trying to hide your shame and guilt. Therapy can not only help reduce unwanted symptoms it can also help you understand underlying issues, increase self-awareness, help manage your emotions, and learn to see things in a different perspective. You don’t have to go through a huge life event or trauma to benefit from therapy. Talking with a professional allows you to get feedback on whatever you’re feeling and gain insight on how those emotions are affecting your everyday life. My approach to therapy
My passions truly lie in accompanying people on their life’s journey - providing support as they grow as individuals, challenging them to discover their strengths, and helping them thrive in their life circumstances. I want to help you find your inner strength to take control of who you are and how you want to live your life. I will empower you to embrace personal understanding and promote meaningful change in a healthy way.
We start with a 60-minute assessment and evaluation that helps me to determine how to best support you. We will create a plan to address your specific needs and ways to go about creating change. After the first session, we meet for individual therapy sessions lasting 50 minutes. I will meet you where you are at and we will work collaboratively together promote personal understanding and lasting change.
For ease and convenience I am able to provide on-line therapy on an "as needed" basis.
